A Film by Gideon Oakes

"Q and A" with the Director:

Q: So what the heck is going on with the movie, guys?

A: Well...

Short Version:
Wolfman's Cabin is currently in post-production.

Long Version:
To our loyal fans who have seen us through to this point, your patience will not be wasted. We are currently fine-tuning the film to bring you the finest experience money can buy. Well, that might be an exaggeration, but we know that we have a good movie spread out among our 40-some MiniDV tapes and we really want to bring that movie to life in a format that resembles, well, a movie. So, what exactly are our plans for acheiving this feat? I'm glad you asked. We are going to work on the little details throughout the next few months, poking and prodding until it's perfect. Then from there, it's on to the festival circuit and release on DVD. Although we have yet to see our first cent profited from the movie, we do have high hopes for our pet project.

Q: Hey now... your timeframe keeps getting extended. What gives?

A: You're absolutely right. To simply answer the question, we (moreso "I" than "we") have never attended film school and tremendously underestimated the time it takes to bring a feature-length film from concept to release. I mean, heck... our team has shot a seven minute film in 24 hours, so doesn't that mean a seventy minute film should only take 240 hours? By those calculations, the silly thing would be done in a little over two weeks. Well, it doesn't work that way. I figured two months would suffice in the time deparment. A little under three months later, we found ourselves with no time left and much post-production work to do. My mistake? I figured I could edit as fast as we could produce footage. Again, I was gravely mistaken. So now, life goes on, as does the progress of the film. Just because you don't see us on set or around town anymore, don't assume that nothing's going on with Wolfman's Cabin. It just means that the cast has put in their time and now it's the post-production crew's turn to work.

Q: Where will I be able to buy a copy of Wolfman's Cabin?

A: Right here. As soon as we get our DVD's produced and ready to go, there will be ordering information on this very page that you're reading right now.

Q: You take up entirely too much space, Gideon.

A: Hey now, you're talking about my writing style, right?

Q: How can I get in touch with you guys directly?

A: Drop me a line at gideon "at" wolfmanscabin.com
(address altered to prevent SPAM... you can figure it out, I bet)
